These Terms govern your access to and use of MotionMate, an extension for Adobe After Effects. By purchasing, installing, or using MotionMate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1. The product
MotionMate is a paid extension for Adobe After Effects 2022 or later on Windows. It provides a suite of editing tools (subtitles, vocal separation, tracking, masking, effects and more). Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.
2. Your license
Your purchase grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, lifetime license to install and use MotionMate for both personal and commercial editing work. The license is tied to one active device at a time; you may move it between your own devices yourself, from your dashboard or the panel. "Lifetime" means a single payment with no recurring fees for the lifetime of the product — it is not a guarantee that the product or service will operate indefinitely.
3. What you may not do
You may not resell, rent, sublicense, share, or redistribute MotionMate or your license key; copy or distribute the software; reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to bypass or crack the licensing system; or use the software for unlawful purposes. One license is for one user.
4. License enforcement
To enforce the single-device license we use a hardware fingerprint of your device. If we detect license sharing, cracking, fraud, or a chargeback, we may suspend or permanently revoke your license without refund. A refund also deactivates your license (see the Refund Policy).
5. Payment
MotionMate is a one-time purchase of $9.99 USD, sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, taxes, and invoicing. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
6. Updates
Your license includes all future updates to MotionMate at no extra cost, for as long as we offer the product.
7. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and license key secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
8. Warranty disclaimer
MotionMate is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every system or third-party plugin. Always keep backups of your projects.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotionMate and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
10. Termination
You may stop using MotionMate at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Sections on licensing restrictions, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
11. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date. These Terms are governed by general principles of international commercial law and the laws applicable at our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights in your country.
